Job Requirements
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Completed Trade Test as an Electrician
- Wireman’s Licence will be advantageous
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in the construction and/or reticulation electrical sector
- Experience with electrical projects, automation, renewable energy and infrastructure reticulation
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Site Plans
- Single Line Diagrams
- Electrical Schematics
- General Arrangements
- Sound knowledge of electrical safety regulations and compliance requirements
Experience Required
Candidates should have experience in the following areas:
- Electrical Installations
- Maintenance and Repairs
- Electrical Testing
- Lighting Installation and Protection
- Solar System Installations
- Fault Finding on Solar Systems
- General Electrical Maintenance
- Team Supervision
Qualifying Attributes
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Clear Criminal Record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Detail-orientated with excellent time management skills
