A well-established organization in Denver, Johannesburg is seeking a Financial Manager to join their team. Salary will be discussed in the interview.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Project manage the integration of acquisitions finance related functions into the Group’s shared services
• Take responsibility for the financial reporting of subsidiaries to ensure that the relevant monthly financial
  results are timeously and accurately produced.
• Ensure compliance with accounting requirements according to generally accepted code of practice (IFRS) as
  well as good Corporate Governance.
• Participate in keeping operational management continually aware of the financial state of the operations and
  provide advice on financial and internal control matters.
• Implement high standard of internal controls within the subsidiaries to protect company assets and ensure
  compliance with audit requirements.
• Take responsibility for automating and improving processes within the Finance department.
• Prepare and submit accurate annual income tax returns.
• Actively participate in successful completion of statutory audits at year end within the prescribed deadlines.
• Responsible for the completion of the annual financial statements.
• Participate actively in the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Ensure compliance at all times with company law, taxation law and accounting standards.
• Other adhoc projects.

Job Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant or BCom Accounting
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced ERP, Excel and computer skills
• Experience in data analytics with ODBC/SQL
• Good communications skills essential
• Minimum of 5/10 years commercial experience
