Educational Qualifications:

  • Relevant NQF 8 qualifications.
  • Tertiary Degree (Bcom) (Relevant Administration qualification.)

English required. Secondary and Tertiary language preferrable.

Work Experience:
Previous experience with all relevant aspects in dealing with medical aids, reception in a medical facility, and the admission of patients. Experience in a mental health facility is advantageous.

The case administrator is responsible for overseeing the entire clinical and financial administration of the hospital. To ensure an effective and efficient process from admission to the final settling of the patient account.

General Purpose

  • Attend to patients on the phone and in person.
  • Coordinate and organize appointments, admissions, and documentation to facilitate the smooth running of the healthcare environment and support delivery of quality patient care.

  • Administrative duties in both the front and back of the office, scheduling, coding, patient communication and filing.
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
