Requirements:
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or technical training in HVAC systems
- Experience in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, including electrical, DX units, heat pumps, and chillers
- Certification in refrigeration transition and recovery
- County air conditioning mechanic license or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to perform physical tasks (climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, etc.)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of HVAC repair methods, tools, and materials
- Familiarity with safety hazards and precautions in HVAC work
- Proficient in diagnosing, locating, and repairing defects in HVAC systems
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for HVAC systems
- Proficient with computer software and equipment
- Ability to file work orders, write reports, and follow instructions accurately
- Strong interpersonal skills for customer and team relationships
