Qualifications and Experience:

  • Have technical knowledge of industries related to chemistry & technology and how they impact on customer processes
  • Have experience with continuity of chemical supply, inclusive of deliveries and housekeeping
  • Experience with budgeting and general administration
  • Experience with process chemistry selling will be an advantage
  • Experience with conducting site meetings or discussions with levels of customers on site
  • Must have strict adherence or compliance with customer standards and required results which is chemical, or plant related
  • Have experience with service reports and discussed with the customer regarding service reports
  • Experience with internal service inspections with related equipment at customers site
  • Have experience with water Chemistry Interpretation within a Chemical Industry
  • Have a proven track record with cooling water systems, liquid separation, boiler water systems and other Chemical Application within the Chemical Industry
  • Ability to requisite skills to support any additional business the company may require and develop the business when opportunities rise

 

Key Performance Areas:

  • Maintaining and improving SHERQ performance to deliver targeted sales at the lowest possible risk to the company
  • Managing the sales account to execute the company’s sales strategies and meet stakeholder requirements to fund growth of the Company
  • Identification of sales opportunities and closure on these with high quality written proposals and oral presentations
  • Effectively retaining and expanding business to grow sales and profit margins to achieve business objectives
  • Providing meaningful and insightful technical service for key customers
  • Ensuring the execution of an effective marketing strategy
  • Leading, directing and managing teams to ensure they have clear direction, effective leadership and are well motivated and aligned
  • Managing and implementing Continuous Improvement and other projects
  • Travel and support business requirements in South Africa and outside of South Africa and when the need arises
